As a Spring 2020 NASA DEVELOP Intern, I acquired remotely sensed data relating to live fuel moisture (e.g. evapotranspiration, surface reflectance) using NASA EARTHDATA and the LP DAAC AppEEARS tool.  My team and I constructed a forecasting model using ArcGIS Pro Model Builder, Python, R and TerrSet that analyzes vegetation indices, topographic, and weather variables to better predict wildfire hazard in the intermountain west.  I collaborated with team members to deliver a technical report, oral presentation, poster, and video summary to our project partners at the Bureau of Land Management and the National Weather Service.
